If Im thinking of what your are refering to try loading the gun with the barrel towards the ground. If you load with it pointed up at all it slids back and doesnt load right, I can only get 1 shell in mine this way. If thats not what you mean im lost to

O ok, I got you. I forgot they took the metal piece out and put the orange indicator in those guns. I have a 1100 thats the same way and personally dont like it. Mine just acts like it sticks and is tough to push back. I took it to the shop and he said he wont hurt it and the only way to fix it is to find a old metal one and get put in

I never did find one, check your gun shops and have them call around. Alot of times you can find a old gun with a good one in. For some reason everything is going to plastic these days and as far as I know nobody sells the metal ones. Just takes some looking around

Nordic components makes a great follower. Midway carries them. Link:

You can also take a scotchbrite pad or some fine sandpaper and go around the edges of the follower to take off the sharp edges so it doesn't stick. Since yours is sticking out too far it might be out of spec I'm sure midway or brownells has a ton of replacements.

I called Remington on my issues and the exact thing they said is that its fairly normal with the new plastic they use and to try a older metal one, they say its not a manufacture issue.

No it's not normal. It's really hard to get those long extensions to work right. Make sure the two tabs on the inside of the magazine tube are completly clear and not hitting the shells.
