Win 101 won't fire

I have a Win 101 20 guage that won't fire the bottom barrel. When the barrel selector is on the bottom barrel it still fires the top barrel only. The safety and barrel selector button seem to work fine. The action also seems stiff when opening. Gun is like new and appears to be fired very little if any. Anybody out there have any idea what is wrong and how much to repair?

Have 101's but have not experienced this. Use a 101 skeet a lot. You are going to have to pull the butt off so you can see what is broken or loose in the mechanism. Since the 101 is a mechnical trigger vs a recoil trigger then the bottom bbl may no be cocking at all. Hence, top bbl always firing, regardless of setting on selector (actually a good thing if out hunting as you have one bbl working!). This could be a forearm cocking mechanism issue or in the reciever linkage. Since 101s are not usually terrible stiff the cocking may be the problem as there may be something interferring with the opening. .... unless you feel comfortable pulling everything apart, a smithy call sounds prudent.
