Remington guality ?
I am in the market for a new shot gun and have a small problem. I can either purchase a one year old almost new reminton 11-87 camo for $400, or I can purchase the new remington 453, which is a Rusian made. for $450. I spoke with the local gun dealer and they had no problem or heard any complaints. Can anyone have any help or point me in the right direction.
Yes I am live in the water duck hunting and would love a super black eagle II or a vince, but really don't want to part with 1200-1500 this season. |

I would look for an older 870 Magnum or a BPS.

OD1, He asked about 2 semi auto shotguns... Both you mention are pump 'em up guns.
nguy, Have you looked at the offerings from mossberg? Low buck basics but they couldn't sell so many every year if they were junkers. All but the "SA" and "International" are american built guns. Brent |

I'm suspicious of anything made in Russia - its hard to tell if you're getting good steel / and solid internal components.
I'd probably suggest you go with the 11-87 - and save your money up for the Benelli you really seem to want. |

Get the 11-87 and change the magazine follower... It's the only problem i've had with the newer remington shotguns...
