Traditions Buck Hunter Scout Youth
A good friend died recently and his son wished to go deer hunting with his Father's Black Powder rifle. He knows nothing about black powder so he came to me for instruction. Unfortunately, I hunt tradional, not in-line. Is there a link that provides step by step instruction? Also, this rifle appears to missing the main spring. Unless I'm mistaken, shouldn't a main spring wrap around the firing pin? Yhanks for any help.

They have pretty good customer service. I have a Traditions cap and ball pistol. The main spring broke. I called the 1800 number, the guy didn't ask for the serial number, or where I had bought it, he sent me a new spring for free, no questions asked. |
