Winchester 120 12 ga

Anyone help me out on info on the winchester 120 12 ga. A guy I know is selling one NIB and he said it has a slug barrel, but its smooth bore? So can you shoot any loads through this? What choke would it be considered? Any help or advise would be wonderful. Looking for a good cheap gun for the kid this year for hunting, but there is nothing we'd use slugs for.

Lots of slug guns were made with smooth bores. It probably doesn't have any choke at all (cylinder bore). In fact, I'd much rather have a good shooting smooth bore than a rifle bore that shot exactly the same group size. The benefit is that Foster (rifled) slugs through a smooth bore are about $5/box and sabot slugs are somewhere around $12/box.
