Walker Colt I.D., please
I have truly tried to identify the manufacurer/year of a 1847 "Walker Colt"
The serial number is A 51894 and is located in front of the trigger guard. Along the top it reads "ADDRESS SAM COLT NEW - YORK CITY I am seriously considering purchasing this from a friend and do not want either of us to be cheated. Thank you so much for any advice you can give. |

What other markings are there on it? Look under the loading lever for markings.

Are there any proof marks on the right side of the frame or the bottom of the frame?
Uberti and ASM are the two Italian manufacturers of the Walker. ASM is no longer in business, they produced a few Colt revolvers with the Colt info stamped on the top of the barrel. I don't know if that includes the walker. Does it have a period (.) after "ADDRESS" and the small raised "L" after "SAM"? |

The "Buy-it-Now" price on this ASM Walker, on gunbroker, was $320:

hi
I have an Uberti 1858 Remington dated 2005, with the letter as "A" before the serial number. Maybe, it seems to be like to say Aldo (Uberti). Quote:
