? Anyone use WSF powder in .380?
I'm looking for a load that will safely launch a 102 grain GoldenSaber bullet at 900 fps from a Keltec's 2.6 inch barrel. I can't quite get there with Unique, and WSF looks interesting but Quickload doesn't have data for it -- and Hodgdon's/Winchester has almost no load data (for any cartridge) using WSF.
Thanks.

"...no load data (for any cartridge) using WSF..." Primarily a shotgun powder that is ok for some .38 Super, 9mm and 40 S&W pistol loads. Not many people loading .380's either.
The closest you'll get to 900 fps is max loads of any powder. Hodgdon, of course, doesn't say what barrel they used.

Here's a trick for using the Hodgdon on-line data...
If you want the barrel length they used for testing, click on the "Print" button. Then information like the brand of case used, trim length, brand and type of primer, barrel length, and even the twist rate are shown. And to address the original question, I think 900 fps with the 102gr Golden Saber from a P3AT is safely do-able. Be careful and work up slowly, using powders like Power Pistol or 3N37.
