Davenport single barrel shotgun lock-up help
Recently re-conditioned a W.H. Davenport single barrel shotgun. But it has a little play still in the lock-up. It has the original hinge pin, which seems to be tapered. Are there some kind of bushings that may fix it ?? Any help ,appreciated.

Not that I know of, but Brownells has hinge pins for replacement. The Davenport company went out of business around WWI and many of their guns have Damascus barrels, so you might think of giving the old timer an honorable retirement and buying something a bit newer.
