What exactly does a gunsmith do when he "blueprints" an action?

Do you think it's worth paying $250 to have a factory rifle blueprinted?

DeBee, I think it's worth it. Bluprinting involves truing the receiver, the threads in the receiver,the receiver locking lug recesses, outside receiver concentricity, the bolt locking lugs, and the bolt face. It's quite a bit of work but the results are usually worth it. George
