By the way, where did you get your .308 AP, what did you pay and how do the bullets look?

www.hi-techammo.com has pulled .30 AP blacktip. They're pretty accurate bullets.

I've got a technical manual from 1981 (TM 43-0001-27) that shows the 7.62mm M61 AP round as having a 150.5 grain boat-tailed bullet with a velocity of 2750 fps; the 30-06 M2 AP round has a 165.7 grain flat-based bullet, and a velocity of 2715 fps.

I loaded some this weekend from gathering all the info I could from friends and the net, I used IMR 4064 the same I use for my match 168 HPBT and since there is a lot less room than an ought six for powder I used 38.5 gr and it worked well as I shot a few this last weekend and used 8.025 for an OAL for my weapon a Rem pss 700
