Volquartsen MKII/MKIII Picatinny Rail Mounting System

Volquartsen MKII/MKIII Picatinny Rail Mounting System for Ruger MKII/III, has anyone tried it ?

Read more at:
https://www.volquartsen.com/products...ounting-system

volquartsen does not ship export it to Norway, does anyone know where I can get hold of one ? It is o.k if it is slightly used.

I wonder why?

If it's legal to do so I would have no problem ordering one for you and sending it to you.

It is legal, so it is strange.

i wrote volquartsen and they answered:
We do not handle exporting but I would contact www.brownells.com for this item.

My is a Ruger MKII target, serial 217-454xx
The barrel length is 10 cm ( 3.9 inch ) measured from the barrel end of the receiver. It is not predrilled from the factory. It looks like the mount is made for barrels with a minimum length of 5.5 inches.

What they're saying is that they don't export to anywhere because they don't want to deal with the hassle of legally exporting products. I can understand that--it can be a complicated, expensive, time-consuming and liability prone process.

Brownell's is apparently already set up to deal with exportation. That means you can buy the part, but you'll have to get it from Brownell's instead of buying it directly from Volquartsens.
