How to get safety button off a Mossberg SG?

Eyeing a coupla Mossberg shotguns. If I give in to temptation and grab a used mdl.500 instead of the 590 I will most certainly want to change out the plastic safety button for a steel one. Only question is... what kinda screwdriver should be used for the one-way screw holding on that button?

Cut the one way screw and remove it.Use a hacksaw or dremil tool to make the notch.
