I've been trying to work up a load for the .444 marlin. I've come to the conclusion that I wont be using the 300 grn bullet very often. It seems to be a pain in the butt. In the manual I'm currently using the 240 grn bullet lists the same starting charge and do not exceed charge, both being 60 grns of H335. I think I'm going to switch powder anyway but why is there no difference in the start and the dont exceed? Also I'd like opinions on a better powder for the 240 grn remington JSP. Any great ideas?
