Idea
Have an idea, why doesn't SWAT get gun owners involved in other weapons rights?
In Oregon I have the right to keep and bear arms, including auto knives. Now, if these knives cross state lines then they fall under Federal knife laws. Here is where we attack on the basis of the fed law: Quote:
You see, I live in a state that has a company, Benchmade, that makes and sells auto knives. Since I live in the state of Oregon, I am not subject to federal law. State law allows possesion and the carry of (but not concealed) of said knife. I could be "high and mighty" and rub it in that I am allowed to buy, own and carry these knives but I want the same for all my Brothers and Sisters out there. Why should I be "allowed" but you can't? I'm not into this way of thinking. Maybe bring to the forefront this issue because I've noticed that many gun owners like fine knives. Oh, just to give an example, here's what I'm buying next. I am buying the: 2550 Mini Reflex Blade Length: 3.20" Blade Thickness: 0.100" Blade Material: 154CM Blade Hardness: 58-60 Blade Style: Drop-Point Weight: 2.40oz. Clip: Black Stainless Steel Lock Mechanism: Auto Open w/ Safety Overall Length: 7.40" Closed Length: 4.20" Sheath Material: Sold Separately Class: Black This is going to be my everyday knife, light, good grip, fast. I already have: 9100 Auto Stryker Blade Length: 3.70" Blade Thickness: 0.120" Blade Material: 154CM Blade Hardness: 58-60 Blade Style: Tanto (Spear-Point 9130SBT) Weight: 4.10oz. Clip: Black Stainless Steel Lock Mechanism: Auto Open w/ Safety Overall Length: 8.25" Closed Length: 4.68" Sheath Material: Sold Separately Class: Black Discontinued but still in stores. Wayne |
