5.56x45 OCW test... check me please?
I did an OCW test this morning and got the following results:
Would you guys agree that 24.1 to 24.5 seems to be the region of my accuracy node?

What am I missing on group 7 @ 25.6 gr. Is the group size of 0.298 a typo. Looks to me like further testing on that end may be warranted.

No typo Al, it was the smallest group of the bunch, but it's also a compressed load (the last two were); I'd rather not operate up there if I can keep from it. The bullets weren't crimped, and when I checked them this morning, they had walked out about .01". I may have pulled one on group 6 thus the 2moa group size. No pressure signs anywhere, but still... I don't know.

Try looking between 24.0 and 24.5 gr.
4064 is a tad slow for a 60gr bullet, but in my experience you can load 24~24.5 gr of pretty much any powder (4064, Re15, 2000-MR) and get decent results with heavy match bullets. Makes sense that it would be fine for a 60gr bullet as well. Jimro

The key for that load may be compressed powder. Or the .01 further forward may be what did it. The free bore is the next thing to play with after charge amounts. Do more testing with the higher charge and changing cartridge OAL.

I'll sweep through both regions again and see what happens. Can't hurt.
