Pot O' Gold!
I got some (500 I know not enough for a new gun) Montana Gold 115g 9mm from Rocky Mountain Reloading yesterday and am looking forward to trying them out on my new CZ 75B I will be getting next week!
Look how they shine! I ran them through the tumbler for a bit. |

I have been using Montana Gold Bullets for several years now.I think they put out a first class product, and have great customer service as well. The last bullets that I ordered from them(125 gr.fmj for 38 spec) were out of stock and rather than keeping me waiting they substituted their more expensive 125 gr.jhp at the same price.I can't see me ordering my range bullets from anyone else.

Their 115gr. 9mm has a hollow base?
The only other pistol bullet I've seen with a hollow base is Berry's 185gr. .45acp. The hoollow base allows it to have the same profile as a 230gr. hardball. So how can they get a hollow base on a 115 gr. 9mm? Is their alloy heavier than regular lead? Color me confused.

They are not hollow. It just looks like they are in the pictures. There is lead on the bottom.

I remember those days, buying FMJ from a supplier.
Now I've got something like 2000 lead boolits sitting in a coffee container just waiting for primers. As you have a CZ like I do, a little tip if you ever go with cast. Size the boolit to .003 over bore slug. Trust me on this. |

To all you regular RMR customers, do a quick scan of the Reloading Forum page and you'll find that there is a very nice sale going on as per the manufacturer's moving plans. 10% off of orders over $200, so for all you penny pinchers like me, here's your shot at some more savings.
Once again, big +1 to RMR. I don't endorse often, but when I'm treated fairly with a good product and a reasonable price, I feel like that deserves a word of kindness these days especially. ~LT
