What Twist Rate is Uberti ?
What is the twist rate for the Uberti 1858
I read some where that it used to be the standerd 1:30 but they changed to 1:16

News to me if they changed it to 16. Where did you see this? I thought
they were around the 1-38 twist range. |

Start a ball at the muzzle and with a marked rotating ram rod, push the ball through the bore, count the twist rate yourself to be sure. The only way I know of without taking the word of someone else.

I thought that there have been reports that the Uberti's shoot conicals better than the Piettas.
