Just saw a minty C&R shotgun I'd like...but...
I'm concerned that the mint oils used in making it minty may be corrosive.
I stay away from anyone using the term "minty" unless used as a descriptive flavor of food. I did see a nice Winchester 36 that was described by the owner as "minty," but we didn't agree on the price as he wanted the US Mint in trade for it. It also looked like it had been drug behind a DOT salt truck- not a mint truck.
