Load information/ 9mm LSWC & LRN
I am trying to find target load information for 9mm LSWC & LRN. Anybody out there have some favorite loads they would like to share with a newcomer?
Thanks, Oswald |

You have the bullets? What weight(s)?

I dont shoot 9mm LSWC but there are more good 9mm LRN loads than stars in the sky.
My personal favorite is a 125gr LRN over 4.1gr HP38/W231 at 1.125. 1040fps, light recoil and very accurate. |

Some fairly mild load I use that have resulted in outstanding accuracy and function are:
120 gr lead TC Penn 4.0 gr Universal OAL 1.045 120 gr lead TC Penn 4.6 gr HP38/W231 OAL 1.030 125 gr RN plated Extreme 4.2 gr Bullseye OAL 1.140 147 gr lead 3.4 gr Universal OAL 1.11 Make sure you check a reloading manual before using any data you find in forums. In your pistol, my loads may be too mild to function properly. If so increase the powder charge 0.2 grains. Again verify all in a reloading manual. There are so many good powders to choose from including Universal, Bullseye, Winchester 231/HP38, and many others. I have found the mail order bullets from Penn, Barrys and Zero to be outstanding. |

I have found that Berry's thick plated (up to 1450fps) 124gr HBRN with 4.3gr of Bullseye and a OAL of 1.150 work great in my Beretta 92FS.

I'm running a 125gr Dardas LRN of 4.5gr of Universal and it's the -ONLY- 9mm load I have made in a while, and I run it through all my 9mm handguns.
For a lead bullet round, it's not a wimp.
