Is this crazy with +p?

I imagine that this is a stupid question:

Is +p brass any different than regular brass? I want to load just a few test rounds, and I don't want to buy a new bag of brass or a box of +p rounds to shoot off, then reload.

The obvious problem is someone picking them up without a +p on them and putting them through a 38 spl that's not rated for it. Aside from that, I don't see any problem. Am I about to do something stupid?

Regular brass will work fine for +P loads. Some +P brass will not accept flush seated wadcutters, but that's another story.

Handloaders were loading .38 special cases to full .357 pressures (double +P) long before +P was made. Weak point is in the pistols, not the cases.

Thanks

Leftoverdj,
You seem to be jumping all over every one of my stupid questions. You have no idea how much I appreciate the help!

Thanks,
Stump

Just for future reference, +p 9mm brass is the same as "standard" 9mm brass.
