Sourdough sight
Trying to locate a Marbles Sourdough front sight for my Marlin 39 Mountie Octagon. Marbles no longer makes them. Brownell's doesn't have the right height. Midway doesn't have any. Guess I need a high one for a peep sight. HELP !!!

All the Sourdough sights I ever saw were Redfields.
Which doesn't help much, but will let you look under something different. Gary Fellers is the biggest dealer in obsolete sights I know of. http://www.garyfellers.com/ |

Marbles made some for Brownell's, however they don't have the height I need. Guess they were also called a "Partridge" sight. I set up my Marlin 39 I got for my birthday about 55 yrs ago with a Partridge & receiver sight & really like it. Would like to do the same with the Mountie. Thanks.

Probably the best way to find out would be to run a search on Sourdough Sight. Arguably the best hunting sight. Nasty-G
