Holster HELP!!!
Hello. I'm stuck! I just bought a new Kahr P40. I'm looking to CCW it. For that, I need a holster which:
1) OWB . . .I think this would be best as I have a little mid section hanging over my belt line. 2) Minimal, but slight cant. Normally, I carry slightly forward of 3:00 or just behind 3:00. 3:00 makes me look too wide! 3) Quick off and on the belt. I need to get it off and on a fair amount because OH has a fair number of no carry zones still. I'm thinking paddle or the snap on loop type or a paddle holster. 4) Tight fit to my side. I would like to minimize my width silhouette as that is how I show the most. . .and my hand will bang into it alot. I like designs whch turn the grip into the side to keep it from sticking out. 5) High ride - Frankly with a Kahr P40 having most weight in the slide, barrel and magazine, I would hope this thing could extend less than 1-1/2" below the bottom of the belt. Any ideas? Care to post a pic of what you use like this? |
