Benelli super nova/nova...

What is the life expectancy of a benelli super nova?

If all I fired was 3.5" shells, how long will it last before something breaks?

If all I fired was 2.75-3" shells how long will it last before something breaks?

My Dad is into his 2nd. season, goose hunting with the supernove. All he uses is the 3 1/3" loads and i'
m going to say that your shoulder will go before the gun

Seems to be a well built gun..J.R.

Unless you are a competition clay shooter, that gun will outlast you and your grandchildren with a minimum of care. They are virtually indestructable. Shoot all the roman candles you can afford to buy and it will absorb them with ease. Your shoulder won't last very long. The gun will.

Put a Limbsaver on it. You'll thank me for that piece of advice.

Noone can really answer that with authority - but in my opinion, if you clean it regularly, lube and maintain it properly - I would expect you would get at least 10,000 rounds, and it might be a whole lot more, thru either Nova with no problems. If you abuse it - shoot it when its dirty, don't take care of it you might have problems under 2,500 rounds.

The Benelli Nova's have a good solid reputation.

I have 2 novas and a supernova. My oldest Nova has close to 8000 rounds though it. If performs better than the day I bought it. If your trying to break one, good luck, there tanks.
