Holster Wanted - Alive
Can anyone help me find out how to buy this holster?
I just got a Uberti Cattleman in 45 Colt, 4-3/4" barrel and have seen this holster posted else ware here in this forum, but the vendor or how to order is not mentioned. Thanks for any suggestions! |

Too late. The cow that leather came off has passed on already. snicker.
I'll take a WHAG and say that was probably home made and wet formed for that Ruger. Stitches look hand done. Making holsters is not rocket science(Makes you dislike buying 'em too.). Tandy's has everything you need to do it including pattern books. Doubt that one's pattern is out of a book though. It's maker may be along though. If you have the post you saw it on, you could PM the poster.

I've already made quite a few holsters myself, but not having a shot of the back makes me not want to try because it rides so high. But, you're right the stitching and cutouts do look hand done. I've seen several of this same holster with different guns on the web and the stitching is a bit different on one of them.
I was hoping someone knew something, all pix date at 2010 so I wasn't real sure I'd get any results. Thanks for your reply stating what I should have noticed. |
