IDPA pistol class questions (S&W)
Looking through the rulebook trying to figure out where my S&W autos fall. Hope you guys and gals can help.
5926 (4" 9mm frame decocker) = SSP 1076 (4.25" 10mm frame decocker) = ESP 1026 (5" 10mm frame decocker) = CDP Is this correct? Curious if I have all the autoloaders covered.

10mm
I'm thinking they moved ALL 10mm to ESP...there has been much groaning, gnashing of teeth, and cursing of Bill Wilson on the 'net about it.

I think CDP is only .45 ACP?

All DA autos are SSP.
You can shoot them in ESP if you wish (or CDP if .45ACP.) The 10mm was moved from CDP to ESP, which has irked a number of 10mm owners and is silly on a ballistic basis. |

reply from IDPA says both pistols are ESP, odd since a 4506 (a virtual twin in a "lesser" caliber) is in CDP, thanks for the info guys
