Super Coated Bullets??????
I was at a gun show today and came across a booth with what they called super coated bullets. Apparently the only company doing it [gateway bullets] has a branch in STL and Louisiana, see this link.
http://gatewaybullets.com/ The bullets are coated in a hard coating that also lubes the bullet so it does not need to be lubed and he smashed one with a hammer and it didn't flake or chip at all. The point being that it doesn't cause lead fowling like hard alloy bullets can be guilty of. Does anyone have any experience with these. The prices were very reasonable but I was skeptical because I have never heard of them. I wanted to get some input before I run back down there tomorrow to buy any. Any input would be helpful |

Lots of folks going to them now. Look over on Castboolits for the Coatings and Other forum. There is a TON of info there.
Also just look up in the Casting forum here there are several who are doing their own as well.
