AR pistol Legal Question
I have been told that possessing a SBR/ pistol upper and an unregistered lower is a NO NO, but I have been contemplating building an AR pistol...
Am I looking at violation of law if I own both my AR rifles and an AR pistol, or is that OK for me to have as long as it on a lower that is registered as a pistol? Thanks for the help, I figured you guys would be the best bet next to calling my local ATF, but they aren't open on a sunday night!

As long as you have a lower that is a pistol and only one upper <16", you are good to go. You can buy the stripped receiver and make the pistol yourself or buy one already made, but it must never have been assembled as a rifle. Make sure the 4473 lists it as a pistol when you buy it.

Thanks... That is what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure.
