Beretta certified USED!

Hi everyone...
I just learned that Beretta is now offering used certified firearms ... By what I know, it's the firearms that Beretta has used in shows and for photo shoots. They told me they are reconditioned completely, come with full mechanical warranty and a certificate of inspection... Best yet, they are a fraction of the price of a new one.
Does anyone have details about this?
Thanks.
PS... i will post this in handgun forum too, to see if I get some info

Pazz,

Where do you get these Beretta certified guns?

I'm thinking shotguns, and a 686 or a 391 are serious contenders. ..

I guess you can find them at any dealer that has them... All I know so far is that Beretta offers this type of firearm, but each dealer in the country has the option of buying it or not buying it... Ask around your area, and good luck!
Let me know if you have success, and I will do the same.

I came across a pair of Beretta 1201FPs once that were Beretta certified used. They appeared to be new as far as I could tell. $300 each. I was broke at the time unfortunatly.

Thanks for the info.

Are these gun marked in any way? Special hang tags?

I don't think they are. The only unmistakeable mark is an upsidedown Y stamped on the frame, to indicate it's not a new gun...
They come in 3 grades (1, 2 and 3) to distinguish how used they are, but none of them is too used, since they check them out and approve them for resale one by one!
Hope this helps...
