IDPA Replacement Barrel

I was thinking of purchasing a Glock 34 to shoot IDPA SSP division. Can I drop a KKW Match barrel (no comp) in it and still be legal? I read the rules and it seems it's OK but I want to be sure.

Yes. A replacement barrel of the same caliber and "configuration" is OK in SSP.

Are you doing it to avoid worries about lead bullets in the Glock barrel?
OK.

I do not think you need a "match" barrel for IDPA, the targets are large and close and a factory barrel is plenty accurate. Probably better than the aftermarket barrelmakers would have you think.

Yep, I have a lone wolf barrel somewhere, the factory barrel is more accurate.

Thanks for the advice! I was assuming the stock barrel wouldn't be as accurate as a 3rd party "match" barrel. That's money I can reallocate to more ammo, equipment, etc.!
