62 grain green tips
Just purchased 1000 green tips for use in AR 15 with 1 in 7 twist barrel. Loaded up several batches using BL-C2 Varget H322 H335 and several more powder types. Best grouping I got was about 3 inches at 100 yards. I wondered if anyone has had the same problems with these bullets. I ordered them from a seller in Las Vegas a while back. The rifle is a Colt HBAR that will group in about an inch with 68 grain Hornadys. Anyone have a load for these?

I think I read somewhere that these weren't the most accurate bullets to use because the steel penetrator isn't uniform from bullet to bullet.

I have read that too, after I bought these bullets. I guess if I can get 2.5 to 3 inches, they would do in an emergency situation.

I can't remember the guys name. I found it on gunbroker. I think it was about $135, but it was a few months back.

I've been using the ones I got of GB. They have very small pull marks on them and some don't. I shot them out of my bushy disapator w/1:9 using 25 gr of IMR 4064 and most of the shots were in the x-ring. Some opened up to the 9 ring but kinda figured that with the pull marks. Great for blasting but better for accuracy I will keep my A-max bullets.
