Hi,
New member here. So anyone heard of this : FN Herstal has developed a new handgun with a new sort of ammo that can penetrate 3 kevlar vests. It's supposed to be military/lawenforcemed only. Any comments? The codename is P5(i've heard) Cheers. |

It was a cover story on American Handgunner and its bullpup SMG on GUNS about 9 months ago. 5.7 mm. Quote from manufacturer regarding accessability. "There is no need for this type of round in the civilian market today, hunting or otherwise" "This round has a single purpose, to kill people."
I'll go through my archives and let you know the exact issues. |

If they are available to military and law enforcement, then you know drug runners will have them also.

I think you're referring to the FN 57. 20-round mag, fires a 30 grain bullet at around 2700 fps, supposedly with less recoil that a 9 mm.

The bad guys used them on "The World is Not Enough" (see near the end, in the sub hangar). So much for "law enforcement only", huh?
