Deer roasts!

My daughter showed up today with 2 large deer roasts, 1 pack of deer, chops and one pack of BACKSTRAP, and the best part is yesterday when it was cool and kinda drizzley I never had to leave my warm bed to get em. Never had to drag him thorugh the swamps, never had to do nuttin!

To top it off they were already cut wrapped and frozen!

son-in-law got a 4 pt in the Attakapas WMA in the Atchafalaya basin, all I had to do was become a consultant on the final dressing (he did not have to field dress it the Wildlife Biologist did that for him to do a study on the deer).

My "consulting" was like my job as oilfield consultant...............I sat on his porch, had my daughter bringing me food and drink while I told him how to cut it up and screamed at my grandson to stay out of the blood and leave the damn deer alone!

Some times it pays to get old LOL

Now I'm gonna hafta go get a roast outta the freezer to thaw. I may have had to work a little for mine, but tomarrow it'll be worth it all over.

Where's that slobberin' smiley?
