Looking for Gunsmith in Puget Sound Area

Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in Western Washington state? Preferably in Eastern King County. I need to get a trigger job done on a pistol.

As I mentioned in my previous post I can't recomend one. If you can't get any help on this forum. I would try calling a few gunshops and see who they recomend.

My go-to guy, the sightman, moved to Roy.
I would call DJ's and see who they recommend.

I've used Angie Butrick before, and was very happy with the work he did. Searched for him in the Renton area before posting this query, but couldn't find him. Now I know why. Thanks.

Unfortunately, according to his web site, (which needs updating), he has moved to Raymond, not Roy. That's really out of the way.

Not too far off in geography:

There is a gunsmith with a shop in Sam's range and gunshop, just off Hwy 99 in south Everett. I don't remember his name but he seemed like a nice guy. You will have to call Sam's to get his number.

But he specializes in working on bolt-action rifles. That may be not what you need.

What kind of gun / it makes a difference on who I'd recommend ?
---------------
Apparently he has a Kel Tec P 11 9mm ....that he wants work done on.

DJ's Loan and Sport in Bothell has a gunsmith - Ben / and I suggested he go up there and talk to them ...consider replacing the mainspring, maybe polishing the hammer strut a little ....see what he can do relatively inexpensively. I don't own a Kel-Tec but a buddy has one, and its a pretty poor trigger, so I understand the OP's frustration with it. I know its more of a "pocket gun" than anything ...and they designed it with that long and heavy trigger pull intentionally.

I also suggested testing the trigger with a good gague to start with - then taking the gun down to a bare frame / good cleaning and lube ... and see if it makes a difference - maybe polishing the hammer strut (a little ) so the spring rides smoother on the strut / maybe calling Wolf - and see what they might recommend for mainsprings in that gun -- that would lighten the trigger a little / but still maintain its reliability.... but if he considers it a carry gun / he might just have to live with it the way it is .... but I have no personal knowledge of the internal workings on a Kel-Tec ...so I'm just trying to come up with a couple things that will often work on a variety of DA guns.
