star rolling block carbine

Anybody know anything about these guns? Star rolling block carbines in 30-30. I'm thinking about getting one as I desperately need another 30-30. I only have 2 at the moment ( win 94 and marlin) and I'm leaving in a minute to go to cabelas and get a Savage bolt-action 30-30.

Sure, I remember those. Spanish-made sorta-copy of a Remington Rolling Block. Kinda few and far between these days, I haven't seen one for decades (literally). I bet it would be fun. If I was looking for an unusual 30-30 rifle, I would probably look at a Mini Sharps nowadays.

Thanks for the input, scorch. I'll look into the mini Sharps before I buy the star.

I have a Star Rolling Block and it is chambered in 30-30.
I don't think that it had more than 20 rounds through it when I got it. Accuracy is good and it is a lot of fun to shoot. One thing that always amazes me is the amount of interest it attracts,do to the fact that it is a Star rifle. You just do not see them around.
