$1400 for new rifle...help build
Looking for either 308 or 223 heavy barrel preferably 20in. I have $1400 to drop on entire setup including stock upgrade (if needed) and scope. What do you think?
Note: I do already have savage 10fp 308 in collection with supersniper scope, choate ultimate varmint stock. Awesome shooter. |

What's the intended purpose of the rifle? Targets, hunting (if so, max distance), plinking, etc.
Are you looking to get a receiver and then add a barrel, stock, etc? Or, are you looking to buy a complete rifle off the shelf that has most of what you want and then swap out the stock parts for with upgrades? |
