Glenfield (Marlin) 22 bolt action. Any info helpfu

Found a .22 magazine-fed bolt action Glenfield 80-C.
Just looking for info.
I faound that the 80-D was made for about 10 year starting in 1934 or so. What years was the 80-C made?
I know its "just" and economy rifle and nothing suer special, but it looks like a plinker which is all it would be.
Anyplace to get spare magazines?
They look like 7-rd mags, with a bright red plastic follower, but I can't even tell the capacity!
No s/n visible on the thing anywhere.
Thanks everyone in advance.
(BTW: I searched rimfirecentral forums as well a ran a google search. Not much there)

The Blue Book says the Marlin 80-C was made from 1940 to 1970. A Glenfield economy version on the same action should have been marked 80-G, but I figure they were not too careful about their markings when an order came in. Does yours have Microgroove rifling or standard? Had to have been made before GCA 1968 to lack a serial number.

The Marlin was about $42 in the middle '60s, the Glenfield $35.

Interestingly, different sources give different magazine capacities, G&A says 9, GD says 8, cheap replacements from Numrich are 7. Unless you just lucked onto a real Marlin magazine, your only sources of spares would be Numrich, Tom Forrest, or maybe Triple K.

rifling?

I don't know which rifling it has. How could a guy tell? It isn't marked anywhere that I can see.
Is there any practical difference or in ammo choice if it has one or the other?
