Value Check for Hunter model 158
I have a black Hunter model 158 'quick draw rig' size medium with a #2 holster on it. BH 41, 4 5/8" fits good in it.
The holster feels like it has metal in it to make it hold its shape. The leather is good and has just had a long drink of leather oil. The belt will hold 25 cartridges up to 41 and maybe 44's The buckle is square, plane shape and brass. All stitching is good with no frays and the cart. loops are all good. My waste size is 34 and it fits nice. It will fit a 36 but that's strectchin it. I talked to the Hunter company the other day because this model # does not show up on their website. The quy said this rig is 1960's vintage. I don't do quick draw so I may move it to someone with old school intentions and lust for strictly business looks. |
