Dimpled Brass
Too much lube.
If it was me, I'd take my die apart, clean it out good, make sure vent hole is clear, and start sizing again. Last edited by jwrowland77; July 25, 2014 at 10:57 AM. |

Too much lube on the neck and shoulders like mentioned already. Also, check that the tiny weep hole in the side of the die in the threads isn't totally blocked with debris or hard lube. The tiny vent hole should be clear. It may help a little if it is blocked.

Can the ones with the dimples be reloaded or should I pitch them.

No, but they are tiny. One little dimple on about 6 casings, I think I,ll just pitch them. Have lots of brass.

Load it down slightly and fire-reform it.
