J.C Higgins Model 29 Tube
Hey I am trying to help a friend find a part for this gun. Does anyone know where to find the tube (internal spring?? What do you call it??) for the J.C Higgins Model 29 .22 LR rifle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I checked the Gun Parts Corp website, they show it as sold out, alas. A posting in the WTB section of this forum, and also at Rimfire Central is a good way to start a search.

If you are talking about the inner magazine tube assembly, you can buy generic ones from Brownells and fit them (if you know what you are doing).

20"
I measured the tube, and it is 20" long. I couldn't find a generic inner tube assembly online that length, but is it possible to cut one down? Or do you guys know where to find a tube that length? Any help would be great.
