Hornady cases

Hi forum friends, new to forum & re-loading. Need some expert advice on cases. Opened a new box of Hornady unprimed 7mm rem mag cases, they measure 0.277" inside mouth,is this correct? or do I have to resize or expand up to 0.284" before seating a bullet. Thanks much.

I always resize new brass before I begin loading it.

It is correct. When you go through with the sizing, the expander ball of the die will expand and bell the case enough for the bullet to be seated.

Like most reloaders, I, too, run all new brass through their respective dies prior to loading. This ensured uniformity don't forget to trim all to the exact same length per reloading specs.

Trimming is important for a nice uniform crimp too
