Cabelas....

Cabelas in Boise had full shelves of powder today. Im talking like 35x 1 lb cans and 10x 8 lb kegs.

Its been over a year since I have seen anything sitting on that empty shelf.

None of it was pistol powder of course so it was all worthless to me... but still

I also saw that Natchez had a some 5lb Accurate #2 that got sold before I could place my order.

Is this a sign of more powder coming??????

We can only hope this continues.

I have a good stock of rifle powder but some stuff for my Blackout and some TrailBoss for my subsonic 308 would be a nice addition

Good to hear. I guess :/

I haven't seen a pistol powder I use in at least 5 months.

As long as everybody doesn't freak out again then the ammo and components will be back on the shelves.

Pardon the pun...but some shotgun/pistol powder seems to be 'trickling' in here and there. Not much Alliant product though.

I have noticed a bit of a trend. Some of the dealers who both operate a store and sell on the internet are keeping inventory in store that is not available on their website. Only the well stocked stuff sells to strangers on the net.

A small gun store near me got in a shipment of powder a couple weeks ago. I was of course quick to get up there and his shelves were pretty much full except for Reloader 19 and 22. I asked him about them and he said he had it in back but it was all spoken for already. Oh well, I got MagPro, W780, and IMR4350, and went home feeling lucky to get what I did.

Wish the Cabelas near me had powder. I live in North Texas, was there two week ago and they had only 5 containers of powder, and 4 of those were for .50 caliber. Had plenty of everything else.

Anyone having trouble with RL22, try Ramshot Magnum. Rl22 used to be my favorite powder and Magnum has completely replaced it for me.

Im down to a quarter pound of Red Dot, half pound of Clay dot and a smidge of very old IMR 4227.

I really hope stock improves soon. My LGS has 8lb jugs of Promo and if nothing else is available I will have to go with that.

i live just down the road from georgia arms, a dedicated reloading company, if your desperate for a specific powder(especally from hodgens), let me know and i can possibly help you out, i go there about once a week

this almost all came from the last 4 weeks, i need to start a side biz

My go to source (Precision Delta) has had 40/10 in stock for quite some time now, if you prefer jacketed bullets.

I live 8 miles from the Hamburg store; they've been light in powder and bullets since Christmas 2012. Prices are nothing to be proud of, either. If you're this far from Connecticut, take a trip to Lebanon, Pa, to Shydas Gun shop. Great inventory and prices are better than Cabela's. Another spot on the way is Richland Shooters in Richland, Pa. Check web sites for address and map.

I got the last pound of IMR that ACE had and some primers. Small pistol are hard to find for me. I have about 4# of Unique here so that will have to due.

I have a friend that works at berrys and I get seconds cheap. I am waiting for some 44 bullets and some 45. I have a couple thousand 40 and 45 sitting here, but you can't have too many.

I don't care for the cast bullets, but got some for free and will shoot them up.

The shelves here in all the local stores have been empty of powder and primers.

I wonder how it is in Vegas, I'll be there in a month for a car show. Maybe sooner for the drag races.
