40 cal Glock mags in a Glock chambered in .357 SIG

Pretty straight forward. Can .40 S&W magazines be used reliably in Glock handguns chambered for .357 SIG? The Glock factory 22 round 40 S&W mags is why I ask.

Last I checked yes, they are interchangeable. I know Glock in the past changed them to where they weren't the same, but I'm pretty sure that they are now compatible with either cartridge.

My guns shot fine with them, I'm sure they'll sell you some if you ask for them. They'll sell you anything to make a buck but yes mine shot fine out of a Glock gen 4 model 23 with a conversion barrel ( a 357 sig ).

Gen4 guns and magazines are ambidextrous so for gen4 gun that is set-up for left handed shooter the gen3 mags will not work. Nothing to do with the caliber swap the OP asked about.

Okay I gotcha. Yes, if the OP has the gun set up for left handed use, then only Gen 4 mags are useable. But .40 cal magazines would still work without a problem.

Sig has their mags stamped 40/357Sig on the side I can see Glock following them.

I bought a half dozen Glock full sized .357 sig magazines a few yours back and use them my Glock 22 with out a problem. They are the exact same as the .40 magazines just stamped .357 sig on the back.

The followers are different. But they've worked interchangeably for me.
