Hi all,
I was wondering if someone could give me a rough idea of a price to assemble a rifle from a Fajen laminate stock, Remington 700 action, and a Shilen barrel that is already bored. Is this even possible? I have been wanting to get a thumbhole sporter stock on a bolt gun. Picked up a Fajen cheap. Some guys locally told me it'd be much cheaper to order from the Remington custom shop, but what fun is that?<g> Just tryin to decide if its even worthwhile before I pick up the action. Thanks Doctari |

Doctari, the price would depend on a few things. Is the barrel a blank or is it pre-threaded and pre-chambered? Is the stock a "drop-in" only requiring bedding or is it 95% inletted? How do you want it bedded? If you like you can e-mail me and I'd be happy to give a quote for the work. George

DOCTARI
Take a look at the T-Hole stock on my web sight. You'll never regret getting the T-Hole. Bet your groups, at all stages, will decrease, and your accuracy will improve too. The Stock on this page is a modified Fajen Varmet T-Hole, Mauser action. http://members.tripod.com/~stock4broker/Firearms.html Use to fit the T-Holes to a lot of guns, and never had a bad one. Bedding is important and in my opinion necessary. Please sign the guest book HJN |
