Which model is best?

I am going to buy a Savage Mark II in .22LR. I am stuck trying to figure out which model i want. My max. price is $375.

The things i really want are:
A place to mount scopes
Iron sites
and a bull barrel would be nice but its so much more expensive!

If someone has suggestions on which model to buy, it will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

For what its worth, Marlin makes a number of .22lr bolt actions that fall under almost exactly what you are looking for.

I got my Marlin 917v .17HMR for a little under $250 and I can shoot groups smaller than a dime from 65 yard. Modded the trigger by replacing the trigger return spring with a bic pen spring cut to the same length as the stock spring. Result was a much lighter trigger pull.

The rifle I have looks a lot like the Marlin Model 925. I am very very happy with mine. Will never get rid of it sort of happy.

As far as I can tell, Savage doesn't make a heavy barreled 22lr with iron sights. I own a Savage heavy barreled 22 mag and it is awesome. I highly suggest Savage's 22 rifles...

I was in Dicks today. They still are offering the Savage Mark II for 159.98 with a cheap scope included. Don't know much about the gun, but I do like Savage.
