rear sight integrated with a weaver base?
I was wondering if anyone has seen a weaver base that incorporated a low profile rear sight as a backup. I don't want to invent something that I can buy! I saw a ghost ring on Brownells site, but that one requires high bases and I don't use 50mm+ objective scopes so I don't NEED high bases and I'd rather keep my scope as low as possible.
Thanks, Saands |

At one time, Redfield (original company) had a scope sight base that had a back up peep sight. I've got one for a Remington 600/660 series laying around somewhere just waiting for me to find a deal on one of those rifles.
I don't think Weaver ever made one though, but I could be wrong. Paul B.

It's not a Weaver style, but Jim Brockman at www.brockmansrifles.com offers a Talley type with peep.
