Finding the precise load data?

Hoping you all can point me in the right direction.

I have CFE223 powder and some Sierra GameKing 55 gr fmjbt bullets. Am not finding this exact match of data. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places?

Can find CFE223 data with other 55 gr bullets of differing design but no boat tails yet.

I feel really out of my depth here and am looking forward to correcting that. And I haven't loaded anything yet and won't be until I'm all sorted out.

I assume you are talking about .223 Remington. The Lyman 50th edition, but not the 49th, shows loading data for CFE223 and a 55 gr jacketed SPT bullet. Starting load is 26.0 gr and max load is 27.8 gr. Same data should apply to the 55 gr hpbt bullet. That powder seems to be used mainly with heavier bullets, 69 gr and beyond, along with the 55 gr.

Yes on the .223.

I wasn't sure if the data worked for both bullet styles.

I do have the Lyman 50th but have only read it once.

I use cfe223 with 55 gr Hornady soft points and get under 1 inch groups at 100 yds. I also use it with 69 gr SMK's and get under 1 inch groups.

You will never find an exact component match, to many variables. Yes, your firearm is a component.

It is perfectly acceptable to use load data of "Same Weight" bullets from different manufacturers of similar composition. That would be Lead-to-Lead, Jacketed-to-Jacketed and All Copper-to-All Copper.
