Looking for larger in-car gun safes.

I have one of these Bulldog safes that I use in my car,,,
It is barely big enough for my CZ-75B and a spare magazine.

I've been trying to find one that is big enough to fit a Ruger 22/45 with 5.5" barrel.

Perhaps my Google-Fu is not strong,,,
I can't seem to find one big enough for my target pistols.

Does anyone out there know about one big enough for my needs?,,,
The bare minimum inside dimensions need to be 6.25" by 10.5".

Thanks in advance gentlemen.

Aarond

Aarond,

Try this site. (Sort of depends on which vehicle you're driving...)

www.consolevault.com

I use one of these and they work well.

(I selected one with a key lock. Your mileage may vary.)

Thanks Doc Intrepid,,,

Yeah, those are nice.

I should have stated this in the opening post,,,
I drive an old (1990) Toyota baby-pickup truck.

So it must fit under the seat,,,
Or maybe a slim one could fit behind the seat.

I've been searching more and still can only find small ones.

Thanks again,,,

Aarond

I think I've found one that's just barely big enough,,,

It never fails,,,
I'll look and search to no avail,,,
And then as soon as I post for assistance I find one.

This one from Amazon shows a picture of the "large" one,,,
It's inside dimensions are: Interior Size 10 X 6.4 X 2.

This is the pistol,,,

It will be a tight squeeze lengthwise but I think it will work,,,
I can wrap them in a piece of cloth to cushion them.

Now that I can keep handguns in my car at my workplace parking lot,,,
I want to keep my pair of 22/45 pistols/ammo close at hand,,,
The range is much closer from work than home.
