New to AR 10

Never have loaded for ANY "black" Gun. Strongly considering an Armlite AR10. Do they injest .308 win ammo? Anyone out there loading for them? Hear a ton of talk about the .223 but want a little more WHACK! Thanks in advance

Only the ones chambered in 308 Win/7.62 NATO. The ones chambered for other cartridges, such as the 338 Federal do not.

In case you were thinking that there might be a functional difference between 308 Win and 7.62 NATO, there is no functional difference.

I am sure there are. As a rifle with a direct impingement gas system, powder burn rate is not near as critical as a non-adjustable piston system like the one on the M1 Garand. You should be OK with any reasonable 308 Win loading data.
