I'll carry anything, as long as the caliber begins with a "4."

Normally, I'll carry a full size auto - Glock 21, SIG 220, a 1911, or a H&K USP45. Sometimes I'll carry a Glock 30 or a Taurus .44 special snubbie.

Them big holes in the bidniss end of the gun rule!!

Bottom one is my always-with-me-except-when-I-shower Rohrbaugh R9. Sweetest little handful of 9mm you'll find. Usually in a pocket rig.

Top one is my Steyr S9. More rounds, bigger sight radius (hell, it *has* sights - the R9 don't). Tags along with me in a Coronado vest, weather permitting, or a belt rig (sometimes).

Sorry for the size of the pic - cheap camera. I'd rather spend my money on guns & ammo!

Glock 19 loaded with 15 rounds of 115 grain JHP with one in the pipe. 2 17 rnd magazines fully loaded with the same. 50 rounds total. I use either a Glock holster (my preference since it rides high and tight to the body), or a Galco paddle when I need to get it on and off quickly. I also have a Hi Power, but do not carry it. Too big. I think the 19 is just about the perfect combination of size, firepower, sight radius, etc.

Depends on if we have snow or not. Usually a Sig 220 or 245 with 230 grn. Gold Dots. But summer months, a S&W 638 w/ 135 grn. Gold Dots +P's in a pocket holster. My "fishing" gun is a S&W Model 66 .357. I love to have choices!

Glock 26 and love it. But I am currently considering a PM9. It is smaller than the Glock and will be easier to conceal. My only problem is I do not personally know anyone that owns the PM9 and I prefer to shoot a gun rather than just holding it before I buy it. Anyone know where the best deal on a PM9094 is? Thanks.

The Kahr PM-9 and K-9 are fine carry pieces with good triggers. However, they are a bit quirky when racking the slide. Often, racking the slide will not chamber a round, so you have to push the slide forward with your palm to complete the forward movement and load the gun. According to my Kahr-devotee shooting buddy, this problem is my fault (I am doing it wrong). However, I never had that problem with my 3 semiautos or the Glocks I rented. So, I think Kahr has a problem with the slide not chambering a round at times.

I carry either a Smith & Wesson 642 with CTC laser grips loaded with Speer short-barrel 38+P or a Ruger SP-101, also with CTC laser grips, loaded with either Speer short barrel .38 +P, Speer short-barrel .357 magnum, or Federal 125-grain .357, depending on the perceived anomaly.

Lasers rock!

I would strongly recommend that you do a lot of research before purchasing a PM9. Lots of people are having trouble with them right now. Go over to www.glocktalk.com and click on the Gun-related forums about halfway down the page. It contains a Kahr subforum. Many, many account of barrel peening with these particular guns. I have one, but haven't shot it enough to evaluate for this problem. I'm thinking I might not want to mess with it. Now, my K9 and MK9 each have about 1000 rounds through them with no problems. Small, but they're probably just as heavy as the G26 (an excellent carry gun, btw).

Thanks for the info. I have not heard of these problems. I shoot a descent amount. My G17 has well over 12,000 rounds though it. I will continue to research the PM9. Thanks.

It's a product called "Agrip" manufactured by www.brookstactical.com and available from several sources; I purchased mine from Brownell's.

Although it looks a bit peculiar IMO, it feels great. I've installed it on both my Kahr PM9 and my P40 and plan on installing it on my P45 soon.
