New Match "Skeeter" Pistol

This is my new match grade target pistol. A Missouri "Skeeter" pistol. Has a
real Buckhorn rear sight, hole drilled in proper location in the barrel, "Coon-D"
target trigger. New matchlock speed ingition. Hedge grips with bark. Waddy
all think? I know, just set there and drool.

There should be branches sticking out of each side for better balance!

I have to admit that it takes a lot of guts to build and shoot a homemade gun like this. Hats off to you kw.

So that's were Marble's got the idea for the "buckhorn" rear rifle sight
You just gave me an idea for a sweet set of pistol grips though, "natural" with the bark left on

I hope if your going to fire that sucker, you'll do the 1st shot with a 30' cord from behind a tree, with the gun secured to a tractor tire. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything....cough...ahem cough cough
Cool project

It doesn't use a cord. You use a piece of fireworks "punk"

Um....I was just making a joke. All of the "old" guns and home made BP ones (mostly small cannons) I've done were test fired for the first time with the gun tied to a tractor tire and fired by me pulling a thick cord tied to the "trigger". (while I'm standing a far piece back, in case of a KaBoom)
